Bra & Nightwear Size Guide

Most women are wearing the wrong bra size — not because they chose badly, but because nobody ever showed them how to measure. This guide fixes that in two minutes, with nothing more than a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler).

Bra Size Guide — Measure Yourself in Three Steps

1

Measure your band

Stand straight and wrap the tape snugly around your ribs, directly under your bust, keeping it level all the way round. Breathe out naturally and note the measurement in inches. Snug means the tape stays in place but you can still slide two fingers under it.

2

Measure your bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, over a non-padded bra or thin top. Keep the tape level across your back and let it rest on the skin without pressing in — the difference between this and your band measurement points to your cup size.

3

Find your size

Match your band measurement to the closest band size in the chart below, then check the cup column using the difference. If you land between two sizes, choose the larger band — comfort wins, and our exchange policy covers the rest.

Noor Intimates styles are currently listed by band size (32–40) with cups designed for the B–D range in each style's description, which covers the majority of our customers. If your measurements fall outside the chart, email us before ordering — we will advise honestly rather than sell you a poor fit.

Five Fit Checks When Your Order Arrives

The band test. A new bra should fasten comfortably on the loosest hook and feel firm, not tight. If it rides up between your shoulder blades, the band is too big.

The centre test. On wired styles, the centre front should sit flat against your chest. If it lifts away, the cups are likely too small.

The cup test. No spilling at the top or sides, and no empty gaping either. Breast tissue should sit fully inside the cup with a smooth line under clothing.

The strap test. Straps should stay on your shoulders without digging. If you need them painfully tight to feel supported, the band is doing too little work.

The movement test. Raise your arms, bend, sit. A well-fitted bra stays where it started. If you are adjusting all day, exchange the size — that is what the policy is for.

Size Guide Questions

What if my band and cup measurements fall between two sizes?

Choose the larger band size — a slightly relaxed band with the hook on the tightest setting is far more comfortable than a tight band you cannot breathe in, and straps can always be adjusted. If the fit still is not right when it arrives, our size exchange covers you.

My bra straps keep slipping off my shoulders. What does that mean?

Slipping straps usually mean the band is too large, so the whole bra shifts as you move — the straps are not the real problem. Try one band size down, or tighten the adjusters fully first. Narrow shoulders may also prefer styles with straps set closer together, like the T-Shirt Bra.

How do I measure myself if I do not own a tailor's tape?

A soft measuring tape is ideal, but a ribbon or non-stretch string marked against a ruler works just as well. Measure around your body first, mark the length, then lay it flat and measure the string. What matters is that the tape sits level and snug, not the tool you use.

Do nightwear sizes follow the same chart as bras?

No — nightwear uses letter sizes (S, M, L, XL) matched to your bust and hip measurements in the second chart below. If you wear a 36 band, you will usually be a comfortable M in our nightwear, but check your hip measurement for pajama trousers.
